Having been involved with alternative fuels and transportation sustainability, John always felt that EVs were the future! He has a Tesla Long Range Dual Motor Model 3. The Hedricks and their dog, Ridge, have close to 50,000 miles on their Tesla, across at least 26 states. They're proof it's possible to travel off the interstates over the back roads in an EV, as they enjoy visiting the small towns, parks, river ferries, bridges, and other points of interest that are not accessible on the interstates. John is a board member of the LR Firehouse Hostel and Museum, VP of the LR Downtown Neighborhood Association and a regular participant in the Mac Park Group, arts, history, and transportation groups.
